Archives participating in Veszprém-Balaton 2023 ECoC Programme
The declared aim of the Archives is to publish the results of its work in the field of science and public culture in an accessible form, and make them known to as many people and as wide an audience as possible. The process of opening up the world of archives, which has been ongoing for many years, can be given a new impetus here in Veszprém during the implementation of the European Capital of Culture 2023 projects. For the Archives, participation in ECoC means that we can address and attract new social groups to the world of archives, either through physical or digital presence. The Archives will thus provide the knowledge base of the historical records it holds and, through our archival staff, the expertise needed to process that knowledge base for ECoC.
