Pro Archivo Regni Prize
It was founded by the National Archives of Hungary in 1995. Every year the prize is donated to a full-time employee assigned for an indefinite period, provided that he/she has been working for the National Archives of Hungary on particularly high-level for at least 15 years. The director general of the Archives decides about the donation on the basis of recommendations of deputy directors general, the head of the Finance Office and heads of departments. The bestowed person receives a grant, a memorial certificate and the prize.

Ember Győző Prize
It was founded by the National Archives of Hungary in 2002. The prize may be given to research workers who, having been working for the National Archives of Hungary for at least 20 years, serve the Archives and Hungarian archival life in an outstanding way. The director general decides about the donation on the basis of recommendations of deputy directors general, heads of departments and Council of Civil Servants until 30 September. The bestowed person receives a commemorative plaquette, a grant and a special reward of
